The Caravan Club

The Caravan Club is by far the largest touring organisation of its kind in Europe. With over half the UK caravanning population as members, it sits at the heart of UK caravanning. And, with its breadth and depth of expertise, it is the premier source of services and activities for 1 million caravan, motor caravan and trailer tent owners.

The Caravan Club operates the largest privately-owned network of quality sites in the UK, with around 180 Sites and Certificated Locations across Scotland alone. The Club's newest site, Lochside Caravan Club Site, situated at Forfar in Angus, opened to members in April 2010. Club members enjoy visiting Scotland to participate in a variety of outdoor activities from wildlife watching and hill walking, to white water rafting, skiing and mountain biking.

Thistle Holiday Home Parks

There are almost sixty Thistle Parks in Scotland, all with top-class self-catering in their Thistle holiday home caravans. The Parks have been awarded 4 or 5 stars by VisitScotland and their holiday homes have satisfied strict criteria.  The caravans are fully equipped for self-catering ( they have 2 or 3 bedrooms), are double-glazed and fully heated, and have mains water, electricity and drainage.. Some parks are small, but others have a restaurant, a bar, and leisure facilities.
